Kate Adler has for many years dedicated her professional practice to the holistic approach to wellbeing, initially concentrating her efforts on such complementary therapies as Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Reiki then widening her repertoire to incorporate Physiotherapy Body Mechanics & Bowen. Kate & her partner Malcolm were invited to spend some time at a referral centre specialising in the rehabilitation of dogs and decided that their talents could readily be applied to their canine friends in the same way it had helped humans.

Together in 2000 Kate & Malcolm formed the Hydrozone Therapy Centre, when they were considered pioneering in their approach to animal rehabilitation. Now, thanks to increasing medical interest, studies and research, the veterinary profession is more aware of the benefits of early rehabilitation and preventative or management programs. Based in the Hertfordshire countryside near Buntingford, Hydrozone provides a range of services including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture and animal behaviorism. Hydrozone liaise closely with referring veterinary surgeons and physiotherapists, so that treatment programs can be tailored to suit each dog or cats' specific needs and they believe in supporting both patients and their owners. They understand how stressful and upsetting it can be to have an injured or disabled dog or cat and will do everything they can to assist you.
